		Phew! It was hot!

End of year closing prayer in the library. Ms. White read the book I Knew You Could as part of the prayer. Students offered petitions and were blessed by the teachers and then the students blessed the teachers.

May 1 - Crowning

The 7th and 8th grade went to the Civil War Reenactment site at Legare Farms on April 18th, 2008.

2nd - 5th Grade Field Trip to Charlestowne Landing - April 16th

Bill Walsh from Live 5 News came for a visit on April 8th with his Storm Tracker Van. He heated a meal using chemical reactions, explained various instruments on the van and let us take a peek inside! We gave him a shirt to thank him for visiting us. Click here for video from the visit.

The students at Saint John participated in a day of retreat on March 19th. Various activities were used to reinforce the meaning of the days of Holy Week.




Dr. Dalton visited 4th through 8th grades and talked about bones and the body. He dressed Ms. Tina as a surgeon and gave everyone a cap and mask.
