Welcome to Saint John

Two of the most important words on our lips these days are "THANK YOU". On behalf of the faculty, staff, students and families, "THANK YOU" for your generosity, your support and your prayers. Due to your commitment and the value you place on the mission of our school, the Annual Angel Fund was a huge success this year. The Match Campaign sponsored by an anonymous SJCS Alumnus was surpassed. An overwhelming $33,720 was collected. This amount combined with the Fall Campaign and the Walk for SJCS contributed $77,383 to the school. In one way or another, every student will benefit from this fund every day. Plans are in process to update the school's aging electrical system this summer. In addition, the fund aided struggling families and tuition has continued to remain as low as possible. "THANK YOU" for making a difference in the lives of many.

In 2012-2013 Saint John Catholic School was given an AMAZING GIFT! An anonymous Saint John Catholic School Alumnus has generously agreed to match each dollar donated to the school up to $10,000 from now until May 31, 2013. Please join us in the $10,000 in 100 days Challenge for SJCS!

"Forty years ago in the 1972-73 school year I was a 10-year-old student in Miss Backus' fifth grade class. Even then, the school embodied the spirit of its current goals by providing individual attention, respect for all students and a spirit of inclusiveness. It is my hope that the safe, caring environment students experience at the school will enable them to foster that same culture of kindness and inclusiveness in the greater world as adults. This is the reason I support the school today, and invite you to join me in this challenge campaign."

Thank you to all who have supported the Saint John Catholic School Annual Angel Fund drive, which runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. Because of your generous support, we recently replaced all of the windows in the school building with new energy efficient, hurricane resistant ones! Next on the list of capital improvements is an upgrade to the school building's outdated electrical system. 

Our top goals for the monies raised are: Tuition Assistance, Curriculum Enhancement, Technology Updates, Classroom Improvements and Capital Improvements (especially electrical system and classroom furniture updates).
